South Africa Project

One of our vision is not only to reduce food insecurities in our local, regional, and national communities but also to support our global neighbors that are facing urban food desert particularly in South Africa.

According to the United Nations Human Development Index, 40% of adults in South Africa live in poverty. On the Index ratings of the inequality in countries, South Africa ranks at #114 of 189. Twenty percent of adults lives on less than $1.90 per day. This measure does not include the ravaging effects of Covid-19, which have resulted in over two million job losses.

More than nine million people in the country are identified as being at Phase 3 of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification. In this phase, families are a step away from being in all a full fledged state of food emergency.

As part of our "South Africa Project" Food4life of America Inc. will journey to South Africa to participate in a food gathering expedition. Our sole intention is to donate the game meat to the surrounding villages and Townships to assist as much as possible in the need to alleviate hunger, We will donate one hundred percent of the game meat to the local Orphanage school also providing school supplies such as Backpacks, paper, clothes, and snacks to the local Orphanage in Dendron, South Africa.

2021 Trip

Food4life of America is honored to travel across the country to South Africa. This trip was amazing, It was everything we dream of.
The youth center we visited in Africa is for underprivileged and disabled kids. It was very emotional from all of us just being there our last and final day. Food4life of America was delighted to donate Backpacks, school supplies, snacks and most importantly MEAT. Africa is the birthplace of civilization and if you have the opportunity to visit, you will definitely agree.
We met several different tribes from all over, mostly the Zulu tribe.
Meat is very important here and nothing is gone to waste.
The people that lives here in the local areas was very excited meeting with us especially when they found out that we were from the US.
Food4life of America would like to thank Bayly Sippel Hunting Safari for this opportunity of a lifetime.
