History

Food4Life of America Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. We first formed in 2005 to provide healthy foods for individuals and families who do not have easy access to nutrition, or who are 'food insecure' (meaning that they may not know where their next meal will come from). We have now been involved with serving over 100,000 people in our community. We take pride in delivering hot meals to those who chronically ill or homebound. We became tax exempt in 2020 so that we can implement programming that addresses the underlying causes of hunger and poor nutrition. We have learned that homelessness does not discriminate. It impacts both the young and old, people of every race, creed, or color, and even economic status. Our streets and shelters are home for to many people who were highly educated or had financial success before facing a tragedy, health crisis or other hardship. Food4Life OF America, Inc. sees the value in all people, knowing that many of us are only one paycheck or one crisis away from losing everything. We rely on caring for people in our community.
